4 LINE POEMS ... there is a tradition in writing of
expressing with very little ... these are my attempts at such an undertaking ... try it
yourself ... pick an image ... an idea ... a memory ... and with 4 lines try to capture
it's essence ...
NOT VERY LONG POEMS ... some poems take more than 4 lines ...
either due to ineptitude, clumsiness imprecision ... or the sheer need for more words and
the images and emotions they seem to evoke ... these are my poems that fall into this
category ... but they are not as long as the amazon river ...
LONG
POEMS ... now and again a poem unfolds that demands more and more language
... it is greedy for syllables and letters ... it is a nosebleed that keeps on bleeding
and has to run its course ... like a long and winding passage of water ... these poems are
my rivers ...
