Lost Waters by Dee Dreslough
A free book that you can read on-line. There is also a limited number of hard copies available. I found it as good as some Piers Anthony books I have read. Also Dee Dreslough has a main page HERE.

Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott
A classic book. It is hard to decide if it is mathematical in nature of more of a comedy. The link is to an e-text version of it which, unfortunatly does not have the diagrams. I suggest you look for a hard copy edition at a library or book store.
