| The Edit Bset Editor | |
|
Now that we have the ability to make our own blocksets, these pages will enable us to gather them all in one place. They will also include the information that Lemming has so graciously contributed to the forum concerning the use of the EditBset, and any other questions and answers that may arise from builders during the use of the Editor. First, you have to download the EditBset Editor. Warning: There is no documentation for this editor and it is offered as is. You should not have much of a problem figuring out how it works. Just open one of the .bset files in the Flatland folder of your Rover install and you will see all the building blocks listed. You can then edit them by using the buttons in the tool. Flatland will be putting out some documentation and hints as time permits, but that could take a while. But....for those of us who do not take to the Editor like a fish to water, the Tutorials provided by Lemming, linked in the side menu, will be of tremendous help. There is also a Text Pad Library now available for block definition, thanks again to Lemming: http://www.digitaldream.de/download/3dml_block_definition.tcl When you have your new Blockset ready, and have tested it thoroughly, please contact me so that it can be added to these pages. |
